Playoff baseball comes to Baseballtown when the Hartford Yard Goats, the Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, visit the Reading Fightin Phils at FirstEnergy Stadium. The two clubs meet in a best-of-three series for the Eastern League Northeast Division Championship, with Hartford arriving as the first half champion and Reading having clinched the second half title. Both teams have earned their way here, and the winner moves on toward the league championship series.
