About the event
Jim Dietrich Park turns spooky for an October evening along the Schuylkill River. A tractor pulled hayride carries riders into the dark woods, where something waits around most every bend and behind more than a few trees.
Those who make it back can head for the haunted barn and its shadowy hallways and rooms, each one holding another fright for anyone brave enough to keep walking. Food vendors are set up outside for a snack or something warm to drink once you have caught your breath.
The hayride and the barn can be visited separately or together, so groups can pick the level of scare that suits them. Plan to arrive with time to spare, since the last tickets go out at 9:30 PM.
