About the event
The IM ABLE Games brings an inclusive fitness day to the tarmac at Reading Regional Airport, home of the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum. Athletes of all abilities share the same course, with adaptive athletes fully integrated across every event, and the aviation setting gives the morning a backdrop you will not find at a typical race.
Participants pick their own challenge. Options include run or roll distances of 2, 4.5, or 9 miles, the Kaaginator Fitness Challenge, multi-event combinations for those who want to push further, and the Hot Wing Hustle for anyone drawn to competitive eating. Each event is built to be adaptable, so the level of difficulty is yours to choose.
Spectators and supporters are part of the day too, cheering at the finish line and sticking around afterward for the post-race party with music, food, and cold drinks, plus optional recovery experiences including sauna and cold plunge. Proceeds support the IM ABLE Foundation, a Reading-based nonprofit that provides adaptive equipment, programs, and community for people with physical, cognitive, and behavioral challenges.
