Kyle Pagerly Memorial 5K Run/Walk
Sun, Oct 4, 9:00 AM · 1102 Red Bridge Road, Reading

About the event
The Kyle Pagerly Memorial 5K Run/Walk returns to the Berks County Heritage Center grounds at 1102 Red Bridge Road in Reading, with the course stepping off at 9:00 AM on Sunday, October 4, 2026. The race honors the memory of Kyle Pagerly, a Berks County sheriff's deputy who died in the line of duty, and it draws runners, walkers, families, and members of the local law enforcement community together each fall.
The setting is one of the prettiest places in the county to cover a few miles, with the Union Canal towpath, the wooded riverside and the Heritage Center's historic buildings all close at hand. The flat, shaded terrain suits competitive runners chasing a time as comfortably as it suits neighbors planning to walk the distance at a conversational pace.
Timing is handled by Pretzel City Sports, a familiar name at races throughout Berks and the surrounding region. Arrive early to park, pick up your bib, and warm up before the start.
Hosted by Berks County Heritage Center on BerksConnect.
