LoveNotes brings a cast of storytellers to the Miller Center stage for an evening of true stories about love in its many forms. Some are funny, some are tender, and each one comes from a person willing to share what happened to them. Live music threads through the night, and the shift between laughter and quieter moments is much of the appeal.
The show was created by Berks County native and author Heather Christie and is produced in Reading by Wanda Colon Hart, another Berks native whose television credits include hosting HGTV's "24 Hour Design" and TLC's "Home Made Simple." This year's production adds a scholarship, and one selected couple will have the opportunity to propose on stage during the performance, which falls on Sweetest Day.
Come with a spouse, a best friend, family, or simply curiosity. Storytelling suits an intimate hall, and the Miller Center sits in downtown Reading, close to dinner spots and parking if you want to make a full evening of it.
