About the event
The Reading Public Museum's Senior Series brings visitors together for an afternoon of learning built around what is on view at The Museum. The monthly program welcomes seniors and anyone else who is curious, with sessions that range across current special exhibits, film screenings, lectures, and behind the scenes looks at the collection. The topic for this session will be announced closer to the date.
It is a comfortable, unhurried format, well suited to anyone who enjoys hearing the story behind an object or a gallery from the people who know it best. The Museum's holdings center on art, science, and cultural artifacts, and the campus also includes the Neag Planetarium and an arboretum, so there is plenty to explore before or after the hour. Documentary programs in the series are presented in the Neag Planetarium.
Guests of all ages are welcome, so it works just as well for a pair of friends, a couple, or a family group visiting together. Come early if you would like to walk the galleries first and settle in for the talk.
Hosted by Reading Public Museum on BerksConnect.
