About the event
Wyomissing's Movies in the Park series closes out its season on the Stone House Lawn at 1216 Parkside Drive North with a screening of Toy Story 5. Bring the lawn chairs, the good blanket, and a bag of snacks, and settle in for an evening outdoors.
In the film, Woody returns to Bonnie's room and teams up with Buzz once again when Lilypad, a tablet with her own ideas about what playtime should be, becomes the center of attention. The search for missing friends Jessie and Bullseye sends the gang on a wide-ranging adventure. Directed by Andrew Stanton, with Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack back in familiar roles, it is a story about screens, growing up, and what toys are for, which makes it a good match for a night spent together on the grass.
Whether you grew up with Woody and Buzz or your kids are meeting them for the first time, this is a movie night made for everyone. Text the neighbors, spread out a blanket, and enjoy the last park screening of the year.
Hosted by Wyomissing Borough on BerksConnect.
