Norfolk Admirals @ Reading Royals
December 31, 2026 · 3:00 PM · 700 Penn St · Kids ages 14 and under admitted free, with two free kids tickets per adult ticket

About the event
The Reading Royals close out the year with an afternoon of professional hockey at Santander Arena, welcoming the Norfolk Admirals to downtown Reading. Reading plays in the ECHL and calls Santander Arena home, with the club owned by the Berks County Convention Center Authority. The Royals are affiliated with the NHL's Philadelphia Flyers and the AHL's Lehigh Valley Phantoms, so the ice is often shared by veterans and prospects working their way up. Norfolk is a minor league club based in Norfolk, Virginia, and an affiliate in the Winnipeg Jets system.
This one is the New Years Eve Pajama Party. Fans are invited to arrive in their comfiest sleepwear and ring in the coming year early, which makes the afternoon puck drop a natural fit for families who would rather celebrate before bedtime than at midnight. Expect a rink full of robes, slippers and matching pajama sets alongside the usual between period fun.
It is a straightforward plan for the last day of the year: a full slate of ECHL hockey, a walkable spot in the middle of Reading, and everyone home in plenty of time for whatever comes next.
Hosted by Reading Royals Hockey Club on BerksConnect.
