The Reading Royals open their home schedule at Santander Arena, welcoming the Kalamazoo Wings for the first puck drop of the season in downtown Reading. Both clubs play in the ECHL, with the Wings making the trip in from Michigan, so the night brings a visitor Royals fans do not see often.

Opening Night carries extras beyond the game itself. A pregame block party outside the arena includes a boxing event, giving fans a reason to arrive early and spend time downtown before heading inside. An anniversary puzzle giveaway marks the milestone season the club is celebrating.

Expect the full arena hockey experience: fast skating, a loud building, and the between-period energy that makes a Royals Saturday a straightforward night out for families, students, and longtime season ticket holders alike. Puck drops at 7:00 PM.
