Portland Sea Dogs @ Reading Fightin Phils
June 20, 2027 · 1950 Centre Ave, Reading
About the event
Double-A baseball returns to Reading when the Portland Sea Dogs visit the Fightin Phils at FirstEnergy Stadium. The Fightin Phils are the Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, and the Sea Dogs come from Portland, Maine as the Double-A club of the Boston Red Sox, so the matchup carries a familiar Phillies and Red Sox flavor for local fans.
Games at FirstEnergy Stadium are an easy summer outing. The ballpark sits just off Centre Avenue with a compact seating bowl that keeps you close to the action, plus the pool deck, picnic areas, and concession stands that regulars know well. Both rosters are stocked with prospects working their way toward the majors, which means the lineups can look different from one series to the next.
Arrive early if you want time to walk the concourse and watch batting practice. Whether you follow the farm system closely or just want an evening at the ballpark, this one is a good pick for a June visit to Reading.
