The Reading Hospital Road Run brings runners and walkers of all experience levels to West Reading for a morning on the road. The lineup includes a half marathon, a 5K, and a Fun Run, so you can pick the distance that fits where you are in your training. Each course travels through the neighborhoods surrounding Reading Hospital, giving participants a tour of the streets many locals know well.
Spectators and families have their own reason to come out. The Fun Zone features informational booths, activities, and a rotation of food trucks, making it easy to cheer for a favorite runner and then stay a while afterward.
Proceeds support patient care in the hospital's Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit, including plans to expand the ED with updated triage and improved patient flow and to add ICU beds. Reading Hospital serves as a critical care hub for Berks County and the surrounding region, so every registration goes toward care that neighbors rely on.
