South Heidelberg Township brings its fall festival to South Mountain Park in Wernersville, one of the spots the township regularly uses for its seasonal community gatherings. The park's open green space has long served as the setting for township events across the year, from spring egg hunts to fall festivals and holiday light celebrations.
The grounds lend themselves well to an autumn afternoon outdoors. The park includes pavilions with picnic tables and grills, tennis and handball and sand volleyball courts, playground equipment sized for a range of ages, and seasonal restroom facilities.
