St. Lawrence Borough holds its trick-or-treat night on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The borough's own site carries the notice at the top of the page: "Halloween trick-or-treating is Saturday, Oct. 31, 5:00 pm-8:00 pm." The earlier start than most towns gives the youngest kids a run of daylight before the streets get dark.
The borough is a small grid of streets just east of Reading along St. Lawrence Avenue, easy to cover on foot, with porches close together and most of the neighborhood taking part. A porch light on means a house is handing out candy.
The borough also sets a curfew from October 25 through November 1, 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, so the night ends on time. Bring a flashlight or add something reflective to darker costumes and watch for cars at the crossings. Questions can go to the borough office.
