Trunk or Treat at Salem-Berne United Methodist Church
Fri, Oct 23, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM · 292 Salem Church Road, Hamburg

About the event
Salem-Berne United Methodist Church opens its parking lot for Trunk or Treat, the Halloween tradition where cars become the candy stops. Volunteers park, pop the trunk, decorate the space behind it, and hand out treats to costumed visitors who make their way from one vehicle to the next.
The format works well for younger trick or treaters and their grown ups. Everything sits in one place, the walking is short and level, and families can move at whatever pace suits them before heading home. Costumes are part of the fun, and there is usually plenty to look at in the decorated trunks themselves.
The church is at 292 Salem Church Road, just outside Hamburg, and the evening runs from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, October 23. Arriving earlier in the window gives you more daylight and more time to visit each car. Note that this gathering is hosted by the church and is a separate event from other trunk or treats held elsewhere in the Hamburg area.
Hosted by Salem-Berne United Methodist Church on BerksConnect.
