WhereWest Reading Park & Pavilion, 505 Sycamore Road, West Reading

The West Reading Farmers' Market brings local growers and food makers together on Sunday morning, with the market getting underway at 10:00 AM at West Reading Park & Pavilion. It runs rain or shine, so the tables are set up either way.

This is a producer-only market, meaning every vendor is a small-scale farmer or food business from within 50 miles of West Reading, and everything on offer is grown, raised, or made by hand. Late September shopping typically means seasonal vegetables and fruits, pastured meats, poultry, and eggs, cheeses, artisan pastries and breads, raw local honey, hand-made pasta, locally roasted coffee and blended teas, fresh cut flowers, herbal body products, and locally fermented cider and beer.

Live music and free samples are part of the morning, and the market doubles as a gathering place for neighbors who care about knowing where their food comes from. SNAP is accepted, and vegetable and mushroom growers accept Farmers' Market Nutrition Program checks.
