The Reading Royals host the Worcester Railers at Santander Arena, bringing North Division hockey to downtown Reading on a Friday night. The Royals are the ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, so the ice is usually filled with players working their way up, and games against Worcester have a familiar division edge to them.

This one is Wizard Wonderland Christmas, the team's holiday theme night for the date. Expect a festive, spellbound feel around the game, which makes it an easy pick for families looking to fold a night of hockey into the December calendar rather than just watching the standings.

Puck drop is 7:00 PM at 700 Penn Street, with the concourse, mascot antics, and between-period entertainment that regulars count on. Newcomers to the sport tend to find the pace easy to follow from any seat in the building.
