Summer Meals for Children 18 and Under From Reading School District
Reading School District serves breakfast and lunch to children during the summer at school cafeterias around the city. Meals are served from June 15 to July 31, Mondays through Thursdays. Breakfast is available from 8:00am to 9:00am and lunch from 11:30am to 12:30pm.
These are open sites, which means any child aged 1 to 18 is welcome. Children do not need to be students enrolled in the Reading School District to take part.
Meals are served at all of the elementary schools except 12th & Marion, Lauer's Park, and 10th & Green, and also at NEMS, NWMS, City Line and CMS.
Families are encouraged to enter through the main office, where they will be directed to the cafeteria, or to use the cafeteria entrance marked with a sign. During the summer, meals must be eaten in the cafeteria.
