Reading School District

Reading School District is a public school district serving the City of Reading, Pennsylvania. The district operates 19 schools, including 13 elementary schools (Pre-K through grade 4), five middle schools (grades 5–8), and Reading High School, which serves grades 9–12 across one main campus and three satellite campuses. Enrollment for the 2024–25 school year stands at 16,081 students. The district also operates the Reading Virtual Academy, an online program serving 247 students in grades 1–12. All district schools are Title I buildings, and all participate in the Community Eligibility Program, which provides universal free lunches to students.
