Free Medical Interpreters at Penn State Health St. Joseph in Reading
Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center provides free medical interpretation for patients and their families in more than 150 languages and dialects, as well as American Sign Language. Interpretation is always available.
Interpretation options include video chat and telephone service. On-site sign language interpreters can be arranged in advance, so ask ahead if you want a sign language interpreter in the room with you.
To get an interpreter, notify any staff member, or call 484-955-5168. Under no circumstances should a non-certified medical interpreter be used as an interpreter, so you do not need a relative or friend to interpret for you.
