Experienced Auto Technician (A-Tech, B-Tech, C-Tech)

Reading Mitsubishi, a growing dealership at 3814 Pottsville Pike in Reading, PA, is hiring experienced automotive technicians at the A-tech, B-tech, and C-tech levels. Daily responsibilities include performing vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on new and used vehicles; carrying out routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake service, fluid checks, and alignments; diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and computer-related problems using manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment; completing pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new vehicles; reconditioning used vehicles to dealership standards; accurately documenting repair orders, parts used, labor time, and findings; communicating with Service Advisors about recommended repairs and timelines; following manufacturer guidelines and dealership service procedures; keeping a clean, safe, organized work area; adhering to all safety standards and OSHA regulations; meeting management's productivity and efficiency goals; and participating in ongoing training to keep current with automotive technology. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, is proficient with scan tools and modern automotive technology, can work on both domestic and import vehicles, completes repairs accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and ideally has experience with warranty repairs and manufacturer standards.
