Service Advisor

Reading Mitsubishi in Reading, PA is hiring a Service Advisor. Daily duties include greeting customers promptly and professionally in person and by phone, listening to customer concerns and accurately documenting repair needs on repair orders, scheduling service appointments and managing workflow for efficiency, performing walk-around inspections to identify additional maintenance opportunities, providing accurate estimates, clearly communicating recommended services, obtaining customer authorization for work, coordinating with technicians for timely and accurate repairs, monitoring repair progress and updating customers, reviewing completed work and explaining services at vehicle pickup, processing payments and properly closing repair orders, handling customer concerns or complaints professionally and urgently, maintaining CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) standards, following manufacturer warranty policies and dealership procedures, assisting with warranty claims and documentation, and maintaining organized records in line with dealership compliance standards. The ideal candidate has strong customer service and sales abilities, working knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance schedules, the ability to ethically and effectively upsell recommended maintenance, strong organizational and time-management skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, proficiency with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds preferred), and comfort working wi
