About the program
Grocery Bingo is a regular bingo game for older adults at the Berks Encore Reading Wellness and Activity Center, 40 North 9th Street in Reading. Players gather around the tables, mark their cards and play together for the afternoon. There is a small fee to play, paid at the center.
The game runs on Thursday afternoons, early in the afternoon. It is one of the drop-in activities Berks Encore offers at its centers, alongside cards, crafts, exercise classes and lunch. Newcomers are welcome, and no experience with bingo is needed.
