About the program
The Classic Literature Book Club at the Bethel-Tulpehocken Public Library brings together readers who enjoy timeless stories and thought-provoking books. Members read the selected classic ahead of time and come prepared to talk it over with other literature lovers. Past selections have included "The Handmaid's Tale" by Margaret Atwood.
The club is open to ages 14 and up, so teens, adults and older readers are all welcome. Copies of the current selection are available at the library, and you can stop by any time the library is open to pick one up.
Meetings take place at the library at 8601 Lancaster Avenue in Bethel. You can sign up online through the library's events listings, or call or text the library ahead of the meeting.
