About the class
The Bethel-Tulpehocken Public Library hosts a group discussion of "Shut Up and Read" by local author Jeannine A. Cook. The book tells the true story of how she left an abusive past behind and built a bookshop that survived the Covid pandemic and drew international attention.
This is an evening for adult readers who like to talk about books with other people. Register ahead and you will receive a free copy of the book to keep, so you can read it before the group meets. Come ready to share your thoughts on the story.
A Meet the Author event follows on a Friday evening at Sinking Spring Library, and the library will arrange a carpool or bus if enough people are interested. To take part, register in advance through the library's website or by phone call or text.
