Superdome Sports Learn to Skate Ice Skating Classes
Starts Wed, Nov 4, 5:15 PM · $135 · Ages 5 and up

About the course

Learn to Skate by Superdome Sports at Body Zone gives skaters a supportive place to build confidence on the ice. Nationally certified instructors teach the Learn to Skate USA curriculum, using activities that cover the fundamentals of balance, movement and skating skills. Students are grouped by age and ability, so the class works whether the goal is recreational skating, hockey, figure skating or simply picking up a new skill. Each class combines group instruction with practice time on the ice.
No skates are needed to start, since skates are available for students to borrow. Helmets, either bicycle, ski or ice hockey, are required for skaters under seven. We suggest loose, warm clothes and gloves, plus form-fitting mid-calf socks for the best skate fit. Please arrive about 15 minutes before class, since there is a lot to do before skaters step on the ice.
Parents should park and walk their child into the facility, and stay at the rink area until the class ends. Only full-session registration is accepted, and registration closes once the first class begins. Sign up online through the registration link.
