About the program

Young basketball players work on the fundamentals of the game in these one hour clinics from the Superdome Sports School of Hoops. Each clinic covers passing, shooting, dribbling, layups, defense and rebounding, with focused instruction, plenty of repetition and chances to use the skills in game-like situations. The program runs as a six session series and is open to both emerging and established players.
Clinics are coached by School of Hoops Director and Coach Andre Lockhart and his team, with a player to coach ratio that allows for personalized attention. Players meet on Saturdays in three age groups, each with its own hour. Wear proper basketball attire: athletic shorts, a t-shirt or jersey, and basketball sneakers. Players who sign up for the full session receive a School of Hoops t-shirt.
New participants are welcome at every session, and taking part in a prior session is not required. Make up classes are not offered. Register online through Body Zone, or call Guest Services at 610-376-2100 to ask about weekly drop-in availability.
