Game IQ Basketball Clinics for Young Players
Starts Tue, Oct 27, 6:00 PM · $225/player; $50 for drop in · Ages 9 to 14

About the course

Game IQ Clinics from Superdome Sports School of Hoops focus on the thinking side of basketball. Players work on making smarter decisions and becoming more effective on the court through instruction and game-based concepts covering team play, offensive and defensive strategy, court awareness, and positioning.
Topics include spacing and movement on offense, attacking zone defenses, man-to-man defensive concepts and positioning, zone defense concepts, and reading and reacting to defensive coverages. Players learn where to be, how to move without the ball, and how to recognize what the defense is giving them, so they can play with more knowledge and confidence as teammates.
The clinics are for players ages 9 to 14, with separate groups by age. The younger group meets Tuesday evenings and the older group meets Wednesday evenings, and each clinic runs 55 minutes. Sign up in advance online through the registration link, or ask about dropping in for a single week.
