Casa de la Amistad Senior Center at Centro Hispano offers an ESL class on Tuesday mornings at 10 AM. Participants work on English as a second language in a group setting with other members of the center.
The class is one of the activities and classes the senior center runs alongside case management, health classes, computer classes, exercise and daily meals. Centro Hispano describes the center as a place for older adults to stay connected and avoid the effects of isolation, and the program is funded through the County Area Agency on Aging.
To join, contact Centro Hispano at 610-685-1265 and ask about the senior center's ESL class. The senior center is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
