This nutrition class meets Thursday mornings as one of the health classes offered through Casa de la Amistad, the senior center program of Centro Hispano Daniel Torres. It is for adults age 60 and up.
The senior center takes a holistic approach to keeping older adults connected and active. Alongside classes, it offers individual case management, group activities, computer classes, exercise, and culturally appropriate daily meals. The program is funded through the County Area Agency on Aging.
