About the workshop
Kids build and decorate holiday houses out of graham crackers, icing and candy at this workshop from Muhlenberg Township Parks and Recreation. Some will make a simple cottage, others will pile on the candy for something grander. It is a relaxed, festive way to start the holiday season.
All supplies are provided, so children just need to show up ready to build. The workshop meets at the Recreation Building, and sessions run on a Saturday with a morning time slot and a midday time slot. Plan for about an hour and a half, and bring a way to carry the finished house home.
Sign up through the township's online recreation catalog. Register each child or person who will be decorating a house of their own, since each spot covers one house. Check the schedule panel above for the current session times and openings.
