Paint an autumn gnome step by step with instructor Kale at Painting with a Twist in Exeter Township. Sessions run Sunday afternoons from 1 PM to 3 PM, and you can choose a 16 by 20 canvas or a 16 by 20 wood plank board for your painting. Upgrades such as glitter or a do it yourself scented soy wax candle can be added when you reserve your seat.
Painters of any age are welcome, and this design is recommended for ages 9 and up. All ages classes often fill with a mix of kids and adults, so grown ups are welcome to paint too. The studio uses acrylic paint, which is non toxic but does stain fabric. Aprons are provided, and we suggest wearing clothes you would not mind getting a little paint on.
Arrive about 10 to 15 minutes early to check in, get smocked and settle in, since late arrivals may not be able to paint. If you add the candle upgrade, plan to arrive 30 minutes early. Snacks and drinks are welcome, and the studio is bring your own beverage, with cups provided and alcohol limited to guests 21 and over. Bring your own ice. Reserve your seat online through the studio's event page, and note your group's name in the special request box if you are booking separately from friends.
