About the workshop
Paint a curly Christmas tree step by step with guidance from a Painting with a Twist artist. You choose your surface when you book: a 16 by 20 canvas or a 16 by 20 wood plank board. Upgrades can be added to your reservation, including a glitter glue pen for extra sparkle or a do it yourself scented soy wax candle. If you add the candle, plan to arrive 30 minutes early to make it.
This Saturday morning class welcomes painters of any age, and the design is recommended for ages 6 and up. Adults are encouraged to paint too, not just watch. Grown ups who are only helping or watching do not need a seat, but let the studio know if they plan to stay. We use acrylic paint, which is non toxic but does stain fabric. Aprons are provided, and it helps to wear clothes you would not mind getting paint on.
Arrive about 10 to 15 minutes early to check in, get smocked and settle in. Snacks and drinks are welcome, and the studio is bring your own beverage, with cups provided and ice up to you. Anyone drinking alcohol must be 21 or over. Book your seat online ahead of time, and if your group is reserving separately, note your group name so everyone can sit together.
