About the workshop
Paint Pour is a guided pour painting workshop with Painting with a Twist. You tilt, pour and swirl paint across canvas to make one of a kind abstract art, with an instructor leading the session. Choose two 12x12 canvases, one 16x20 canvas or one 10x30 canvas, and additional surfaces are available in the studio.
Wear your art clothes and expect to get a little messy. Plan to arrive about 10 to 15 minutes early to check in, get a smock and settle in. Poured art needs at least 24 hours to dry, so you leave your pieces at the studio and arrange a time to pick them up. Optional add ons include a do it yourself scented soy candle in a clear or gold jar and a glitter glue pen; candle makers should arrive 30 minutes early.
Sessions run Monday evenings, with some Saturday afternoon dates. The studio is BYOB and provides cups and paint water, so bring your own ice; guests must be 21 to drink alcohol. Evening events after 6 PM are for adults. Book your seat through the studio's event page.
