Thanksgiving Catering and Pie Orders in Berks County
Eleven Berks County bakeries, orchards, markets and barbecue counters taking Thanksgiving orders for pies, sides, turkeys and whole dinners, with each place's posted prices, cutoff and pickup window, plus the markets open that week and where to turn for a free dinner.

If you're hosting this Thanksgiving and want the pies, the sides or the whole dinner made by somebody else, eleven Berks County places are taking orders right now, from a single Southern style pie in Boyertown to a cooked dinner for fifteen in Wyomissing. Most of them post a cutoff, the last day and time they take an order, and the cutoffs run from November 15 to Monday, November 23, so pick your place and order before its date; three of them (Kimberton, Deitsch Eck and MISSION BBQ, all below) say outright that quantities are limited.
The bakeries in Berks County page lists the county's bakeries with hours, phone numbers and reviews; this is the shorter list of who takes Thanksgiving orders. The ten that sell more than one serving are in the list below; Boyer's $10 dinner for one has its own section further down.
- Nae Nae's Cakery: sweet potato, pumpkin and apple pies, preorders close November 15
- Kimberton Whole Foods: turkeys, sides and pies, order by November 19 at 8 p.m.
- Deitsch Eck Restaurant: pies from $22 and potato filling, phone orders until November 20
- Kauffman's Bar-B-Que Restaurant: potato filling and pie preorders until November 20 at noon
- Weaver's Orchard: fresh local turkeys at $5.19 a pound, 9-inch pies from $16.99
- Brecknock Orchard: 9-inch pies from $15, ordered by phone, email or in person
- Deep Roots Valley Farm: sides and cheesecakes, picked up November 25
- Fisher's Bar-B-Que: cooked turkey dinners for six, ten or fifteen, from $110
- MISSION BBQ: smoked turkey bundles at $89 and $189, order by November 22
- Dietrich's Meats & Country Store: smoked hams and fresh or smoked poultry by phone
This is a list in no particular order, not a ranking: every place on it posts a Thanksgiving offer on its own page, and nobody paid for a spot. Prices and cutoffs are as each place posted them as of early November 2026, and they change, so confirm when you order.

Nae Nae's Cakery, Southern style pies with the earliest cutoff.
Nae Nae's in Boyertown bakes Southern style pies from scratch for the holiday: sweet potato, pumpkin and apple. Order before November 15 and you get 15 percent off your entire holiday pie order, and November 15 is the final day to submit a preorder; the page gives no time of day. The page's buttons lead to a quote form, the contact page and the menu rather than a checkout, so confirm the order with the bakery; the holiday page posts no prices.
Kimberton Whole Foods, turkeys, sides and Frecon Farms pies in Wyomissing and Douglassville.
Kimberton takes orders online through Thursday, November 19 at 8 p.m. The turkeys are fresh and uncooked unless you pick the smoked one: natural whole birds $3.99 a pound, organic $4.99, breasts $6.49 to $7.49, and the smoked, pre-cooked whole turkey $5.99. Every option is limited in availability. A single-serving traditional or vegan Thanksgiving meal is $19.99, and sides that mostly serve two or three run from $7.99 to $14.99. The 9-inch pies are baked by Frecon Farms in Boyertown: pumpkin, apple crumb and tart cherry $17.99, rum pecan $20.99, wheat-free pumpkin or apple $24.99. Its Douglassville store, Kimberton Whole Foods - Douglassville, takes orders too, through the same order link, which asks you to pick the store.
Deitsch Eck Restaurant, pies, deep-dish custards and potato filling in Lenhartsville.
The Eck takes orders by phone only, at 610-562-8520, until Friday, November 20 at 7 p.m., with pickup noon to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25. Most pies are $22, apple crumb, pumpkin, shoofly, coconut custard and key lime among them; blueberry crumb, cherry crumb and bourbon chocolate chip pecan are $23, and caramel apple crumb $24. The PieCaken, red velvet cake over cheesecake over pecan pie, is $60, and only four are available. Deep-dish custards, taller custard pies, are $26, with 40 being made.
Potato filling, the Pennsylvania Dutch bread-and-potato stuffing, is $5 a pound; the kitchen is making 300 pounds fresh. Hot bacon dressing is $5.50 a pint or $9.50 a quart; coleslaw, pepper cabbage, chow chow, pickled beets and creamy cucumber salad are $5 a pint or $9 a quart; glazed carrots are $6.95 a pint or $12.95 a quart. Paying by card adds 4 percent.
Kauffman's Bar-B-Que Restaurant, potato filling and pies in Bethel.
Kauffman's on Gravel Pit Road runs a Thanksgiving potato filling and pie sale, with preorders open from October 19 at 7 a.m. until November 20 at noon. The page doesn't print prices or a pickup date, so you'll get both when you order. The restaurant is closed November 26.
Weaver's Orchard, locally raised turkeys and orchard pies in Morgantown.
Weaver's sells fresh, never frozen turkeys raised at Loag's Corner Turkey Farm: whole birds $5.19 a pound and breasts $10.09 a pound, each with a $20 deposit. Turkeys are ordered on the orchard's turkey page with the $20 deposit, and the deposit is refundable until Saturday, November 14. Pies are ordered on the online Thanksgiving pie form, which books an hourly pickup window on November 24 or 25; a single pie can also be set aside by phone at 610-856-7300 or by email with 24 hours' notice. No last day to order is posted for pies or turkeys. The 9-inch pies run from apple lattice top at $16.99 through pumpkin at $18.49 to pecan at $22.69.
Brecknock Orchard, pies by phone, email or in person in Mohnton.
Brecknock posts a printable Thanksgiving order form on its bakery page and takes the order by phone at 717-445-5704, by email at info@brecknockorchard.com or at the farm market; no cutoff is posted. One of its pies is wet-bottom shoofly, a molasses pie with a soft, gooey bottom layer. The large 9-inch pies start at $15 for pumpkin; shoofly is $16, pecan $18, apple crumb $19 and caramel apple pecan $22, and small 3.5-inch pies are $4.50 to $5.50. Buy 12 or more of one item and you get 10 percent off, with five days' notice asked for an order that size.
Deep Roots Valley Farm, sides and cheesecakes picked up in West Reading.
Deep Roots' Thanksgiving sides and desserts are preorder only. Pickup is Wednesday, November 25. For pickup at the farm's West Reading cafe, Deep Roots Cafe at 22 North 6th Avenue, from 8 to 2, you order on the cafe's site, not the farm's. For pickup at the farm's Phoenixville farmers market stand from 11 to 1, you order on the farm's site. Sour cream mashed potatoes are $14.99, five-cheese macaroni and cheese $16.99 and cornbread and sausage stuffing $19.99; apple crumb and pumpkin pies are $18.99, and cheesecakes run from $44.99 to $69.99. No portion sizes or cutoff are posted, so ask when you order.
Fisher's Bar-B-Que, the whole dinner in Wyomissing.
Fisher's, inside the PA Dutch Farmers Market, sells the dinner already cooked. The Meal for 6 is $110 and comes with a small turkey, 6 pounds of sides and a quart of gravy; the Meal for 10 is $145 with a medium turkey, 9 pounds of sides and a pint plus a quart of gravy, and the Meal for 15 is $175 with a large turkey, 13 pounds of sides and 2 quarts of gravy. The menu doesn't say whether the meal is handed over hot or cold, so ask when you order.
A cooked turkey on its own is $7.95 a pound by cooked weight, and sides are $5.89 a pound, with sales tax added. Order by phone at 610-374-3300; pickup is November 24 and 25, 9 to 6, and no cutoff is posted.
MISSION BBQ, smoked turkey bundles in Wyomissing.
MISSION BBQ on Paper Mill Road sells its Thanksgiving by the bundle. The L bundled meal, with smoked turkey breast, feeds 4 to 6 for $89, and the XL, with the holiday turkey, feeds 10 to 12 for $189; each comes with three sides, rolls and cranberry sauce. The ready-to-serve smoked turkey breast and drumstick on its own, with no sides, is also $89, and the chain lists it as feeding 10 to 12. Orders are due by November 22, quantities are limited, and you order online, by phone or at the counter.
Boyer's Food Markets, the ten-dollar dinner for one.
Boyer's, with Berks stores in Bernville, Birdsboro, Fleetwood and Womelsdorf, sells a Thanksgiving Dinner For One at $10: ham or turkey with mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, peas and corn and a dinner roll, served cold or hot. It's a single serving, ordered online by Monday, November 23 at 9 p.m. for pickup at your store by 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25 or by noon on Thursday, November 26.
Dietrich's Meats & Country Store, hams and fresh poultry in Krumsville.

No prices or cutoff are posted, and the site doesn't say whether the smoked birds are fully cooked, so ask when you call. The store is open Thanksgiving Eve from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed Thanksgiving Day, and takes no credit or debit cards at checkout, though there's an ATM inside.
Market hours in Thanksgiving week.
Renninger's and the Shillington Farmers Market post Thanksgiving-week hours. Renninger's Antique and Farmers' Market, the Kutztown market at 740 Noble Street, opens an extra day, Wednesday, November 25 from 9 to 3, for Thanksgiving orders and last-minute shopping at its stands. Shillington Farmers Market, in Shillington, is open two extra days, Tuesday and Wednesday, November 24 and 25, from 7 to 7, and Saturday, November 28 from 7 to 4; the page doesn't say whether it opens on Thanksgiving Day or the Friday after.
Frequently asked questions.
Is there a grocery deal if I'd rather cook the whole thing myself?
Lidl's Reading store runs a Thanksgiving Meal Deal from November 11 through November 25: members of its Lidl Plus program get the ingredients for a meal serving up to 10 people for $34.40, while supplies last. That's a basket you shop, not an order you place, and Lidl is closed on Thanksgiving Day.
What's the latest a place on this list still takes an order?
The last posted cutoff is Boyer's, Monday, November 23 at 9 p.m. Weaver's, Brecknock, Deep Roots, Fisher's and Dietrich's post no cutoff at all; Weaver's sets a pie aside with a day's notice, and Brecknock asks five days for a dozen or more of one item.
What if you need a free Thanksgiving dinner, or you'd rather eat out?
Families enrolled in Friend, Inc.'s food pantry get a turkey and a holiday dinner box in November, and the details are on our page about Friend, Inc.'s holiday dinner boxes in Kutztown. If you'd rather let a restaurant cook and clean up on the day itself, our post on Thanksgiving dinner in Berks County restaurants has the buffets and reservations.
Where do I find more bakeries and farm markets that take orders?
Start with our post on farm markets in Berks County, then the best bakeries in Berks County list. The bakeries in Berks County page has every bakery's hours, phone number and reviews; it doesn't say who takes Thanksgiving orders, so call before you drive.
