Forest Ridge Kennels

Nestled in the rolling hills of Paradise, Pennsylvania, Forest Ridge Kennels has been a trusted name in dog breeding and boarding for years. As a full-service kennel and breeder, we understand that welcoming a new puppy into your home is more than a transaction—it’s the start of a lifelong friendship. From our meticulously maintained facility to our wholehearted customer care, every aspect of Forest Ridge Kennels is designed to ensure both you and your new companion feel right at home.

Pristine Facilities That Put Pets First

Cleanliness isn’t just a buzzword here—it’s a foundational commitment. Guests frequently note that Forest Ridge Kennels is “spotless,” “well-ventilated,” and “completely odor-free.” Our indoor runs and outdoor play areas are sanitized daily, and our climate-controlled suites are arranged to promote fresh air circulation. Whether you’re dropping off your adult dog for boarding or touring puppy quarters, you’ll immediately sense the difference that rigorous maintenance makes: an environment where dogs are happy, healthy, and stress-free.

Breeding Excellence and Peace of Mind

Bringing a puppy home is a joyous occasion, and we back every new life with a robust health guarantee. Families often share heartwarming stories of Shih Tzu companions living well into their teens—some celebrating 15, 16, or even 17 birthdays. Yet we recognize that no breeding program is without its challenges. When health concerns do arise, Forest Ridge Kennels honors its guarantee in full, providing expert veterinary referrals, follow-up support, and, if needed, refunds or replacements. This steadfast aftercare has turned first-time buyers into repeat customers who trust us with their next canine addition.

Personalized Service with Paul and the Team

At the heart of our kennel is a dedicated staff that truly cares about each dog’s well-being. Many guests praise Paul, our resident animal enthusiast, for taking time to learn about your family’s lifestyle, answering every question, and offering tailored advice on nutrition and training. While a handful of visitors have experienced service that didn’t meet our usual standards, we constantly strive to reinforce a culture of warmth, patience, and professionalism. When you call or walk through our doors, expect to be greeted by familiar faces who remember your name—and your dog’s favorite treats.

A Range of Breeds, Tailored to You

Forest Ridge Kennels offers a broad selection of purebreds, from playful Labradors and spirited Bulldogs to elegant Poodles and affectionate Cavaliers. Many customers love having so many options under one roof, while others feel more comfortable with breeders who specialize in fewer lines. We strike the right balance by focusing not on quantity alone, but on quality: every puppy is raised on a carefully managed schedule, socialized from day one, and health-screened before joining your family. Whether you seek a high-energy playmate or a gentle lap dog, our team will guide you to the breed best suited to your home and heart.

Transparent Policies and Your Next Steps

We understand how important it is to feel confident before committing to a new puppy. To that end, we encourage prospective owners to schedule on-site visits, meet the parent dogs, and review health clearances. Our reservation policy is simple and first-come, first-served—designed to give all interested families an equal chance. While we do not accept deposits until puppies are fully weaned and vet-checked, we provide consistent updates and photographs, so you can watch your pup grow and be ready to welcome them on day one. If at any point you have questions about our breeding practices or availability, our doors—and our phones—are always open.
