Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway or an extended trip, you’ll find peace of mind knowing your dog is in the hands of experienced caregivers dedicated to comfort, safety, and fun.

Staff Friendliness & Personalized Care

At the heart of Harborwoods is Steve, the kennel owner whose laid-back yet attentive approach turns a simple drop-off into a warm, personalized experience. From your initial tour—where Steve walks you through the boarding process and introduces you to the facility—to daily chats about your dog’s mood, you’ll feel valued every step of the way. Clients praise Steve’s patience, genuine enthusiasm, and ability to connect with dogs of all personalities, ensuring each guest feels like a welcomed family member.

Spacious Country Setting & Relaxed Atmosphere

Located on a sprawling rural property, our facility is designed to give dogs room to roam and explore. You’ll appreciate the uncluttered, open-air play yards, safe fencing, and gentle country breezes that create a restful environment. Many pet parents highlight how the remote outdoor setting helps anxious or high-energy dogs unwind—whether they’re exploring the rolling fields or simply soaking up the sunshine. This unique backdrop sets us apart from urban kennels and provides pets with the natural freedom they crave.

Inclusive Daily Exercise & Enrichment

Exercise isn’t an add-on at Harborwoods—it’s built right into our standard boarding fee. Every dog enjoys daily walks along winding trails, supervised play sessions in our spacious yards, and individualized attention to match their activity level. Owners delight in knowing their pets return home not only well-rested but mentally stimulated and physically content. From young, rambunctious coonhounds to older, gentler souls, our tailored exercise routines keep tails wagging and spirits high.

Holistic Veterinary & Acupuncture Services

Harborwoods Boarding Kennel is proud to partner with Dr. Osborne, our on-site veterinarian specializing in holistic treatments. Senior dogs and those with mobility challenges particularly benefit from gentle, targeted acupuncture sessions designed to ease pain and improve quality of life. Pet owners often remark on the remarkable difference these sessions make: “My 16-year-old Aussie/Corgi receives acupuncture from Dr. Osborne, and I’ve never seen her move more freely!” This seamless integration of boarding and holistic veterinary care delivers both convenience and peace of mind.

Transparent Communication & Trust

We understand that the best boarding experience extends beyond quality care—it’s also about keeping you informed. Before your pet’s stay, we provide a detailed walkthrough of our daily schedule, health checks, and safety protocols. While you’re away, we’re just a phone call or photo update away, sharing highlights of your dog’s day. This level of transparency fosters strong trust; clients consistently praise our clear explanations, prompt responses, and genuine concern for each pet’s well-being.

Fair Pricing & Exceptional Value

At Harborwoods, we believe quality boarding should be accessible. Our competitive rates include not only cozy accommodations but also daily exercise, health monitoring, and basic grooming attention. Many customers find that the inclusive nature of our services—walks, veterinary check-ins, and holistic options—delivers outstanding value, making every penny well-spent. Flexible booking hours and customized add-ons (like specialized diet plans or one-on-one playtime) ensure you can tailor your pet’s stay without fretful surprises on the invoice.

Commitment to Safety & Peace of Mind

Safety is non-negotiable at Harborwoods Boarding Kennel. We maintain rigorous cleanliness standards, secure fencing, and carefully monitored group play to prevent accidents or escapes. Each dog’s health profile—vaccinations, dietary needs, and behavioral notes—is meticulously tracked, so our team is always prepared. While happy tails and joyful barks fill our fields, owners rest easier knowing we’ve implemented strict protocols to protect every guest in our care.
