Plan the day
America's Transportation Experience is the AACA Museum's transportation museum in Hershey, PA: 71,000 square feet of cars, trucks, buses and motorcycles, including the Cammack Tucker Collection.
The centerpiece is the Cammack Tucker Collection, which the museum calls the world's most extensive collection of Tucker automobiles and memorabilia, with Tucker '48s on the floor. The Museum of Bus Transportation collection, pedal cars, an interactive assembly line and rotating exhibits fill the rest, and the museum suggests 1.5 to 2 hours minimum. It is open daily, 9 to 5, year round.
Before you go
Onsite parking with accessible spaces. The whole museum is wheelchair accessible, with two manual wheelchairs first come, first served. Only a vending area for snacks, no cafe. Service animals only. Weather closings follow the Lower Dauphin School District.
Coming up
Autos & Ales craft beer night is November 6, 6 to 10 PM. Fall and winter exhibits open November 14: Pony Cars Rebellion 1964 to 1975, a Triumph Showroom, and the Trees and Trains Holiday Express, which runs through January 9.
