The Bates Motel & Haunted Hayride is a fall haunted attraction at Arasapha Farms in Glen Mills, PA, with a haunted hayride, the Bates Motel haunted house and the Revenge of the Scarecrows haunted trail.

Three haunts on one farm in one night: the hayride runs 25 minutes, and the motel and the scarecrow trail take about 15 minutes each, with midway games, food and photo spots in between. The site says the hayride is OK for kids while the motel is not recommended under 8, and the daytime Harvest Hayride on weekends (10am to 5pm) is built for younger children.

Before you go

All tickets are sold online and timed by date; upgrades are sold on site after 6:30pm. Wear rugged shoes for the trail (no sandals or flip flops). The attractions close when it rains, so check the site or call 610-459-0647 before driving out. The Bates Motel is not recommended for children under 8.
