Pennhurst Asylum is a haunted attraction on the grounds of the former Pennhurst State School and Hospital in Spring City, PA, with four walk-through attractions on fall nights plus daytime history tours.

Four attractions, Pennhurst Asylum, the Pennhurst Tunnels, The Morgue and The Catacombs, run through the buildings and tunnels of the former state school, which the site calls the catalyst for the disability rights movement. By day, three hour guided history tours cover the exteriors of sixteen lower campus buildings, and overnight paranormal investigations run 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. for ages 18 and up.

Buy timed tickets online; all sales are final and rescheduling is online at least 24 hours ahead. Wear proper shoes, not flip flops, sandals or heels. Leave metal objects in your vehicle. Fog and fire effects are used, so bring an inhaler if you use one. Open rain or shine except in extreme storms.
