Clyde Peeling's Reptiland is a zoo for reptiles and amphibians on US Route 15 in Allenwood, PA, with exhibits mostly indoors and live shows every day.

Komodo dragons and tortoises in Island Giants, an American alligator exhibit, the interactive budgie experience at Parakeet Landing and the outdoor Dinosaurs Come to Life exhibit of animatronic dinosaurs sit alongside the main gallery of reptiles and amphibians. Live shows run four or five times a day, and most of the zoo is indoors, so rain does not change the plan. The site puts the average visit at about two hours.

Before you go

Shows run at 11:30, 1:00, 2:30 and 4:00 in the off-season, with a 10:00 show added in summer. There is no food service beyond the Croc Bites snack bar, and the zoo encourages bringing your own food. Dress for the weather; some areas are outdoors.
