Herr's Factory Tour is a guided walk through the Herr's snack plant in Nottingham, PA. Tours run Monday through Wednesday and must be booked ahead.

The tour opens with a short film on the company's history, then follows the lines where chips and other snacks are made and packed, with video standing in for any line that is not running that day. Plan on 1 to 1.5 hours, with walking between three buildings, and a gift shop at the end with snacks and souvenirs for the ride home.

Book in advance, online or at 800-284-7488. Cameras and phones are not allowed on the tour. Three buildings, wheelchair and stroller accessible. Groups are capped at 15. Closed Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after, Christmas and New Year's.
