Highland Orchards is a pick-your-own orchard with a farm market and bakery in West Chester, PA.

Something is ready to pick from mid May into October: rhubarb and strawberries first, then cherries, blueberries, peaches, plums and sweet corn, with apples from mid July through October and pumpkins from mid September. Field access is $3 a person and a shuttle runs out to the fields on weekends. Fall adds a corn maze, apple cannons and hayrides through the orchard, and a beer garden sets up on Saturdays and Sundays.

Before you go

Pick-your-own hours can change with weather and field conditions; containers are bought on the day. The field shuttle runs weekends only and is wheelchair accessible; on weekdays you may drive to the field if you need the access. Walk-ins are welcome at the corn maze, with last entry at 3 p.m.
