The Shawnee Playhouse is a historic theater in Shawnee on Delaware, PA, built in 1904 as Worthington Hall and staging plays, musicals and children's shows all year.
The hall opened in 1904, Fred Waring and the Pennsylvanians broadcast their radio programs from it starting in 1943, and after an arson fire in 1985 the community rebuilt it. The season runs year round with comedies, musicals, a holiday run of Christmas of Swing and A Peter Pan Christmas, a Handel's Messiah sing-in at the Shawnee Inn, and summer youth productions.
