Autumn Moon Tai Chi

About the event
Slow movement meets early autumn in the woods just south of Reading. Nolde Forest Environmental Education Center hosts Autumn Moon Tai Chi on Sunday, September 20, from 4 to 5 p.m., an hour of gentle tai chi practice on the grounds of this Berks County state park. The program is presented with the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation.
The session takes its name from the seasonal celebrations held around the world at this time of year, when the harvest and the changing light are marked in many different traditions. Tai chi asks for nothing more than comfortable clothes and a willingness to move at an unhurried pace, so newcomers are as welcome as anyone with practice behind them.
Nolde Forest covers more than 725 acres of deciduous woodlands and coniferous plantations, with a trail network reaching streams, ponds, and varied habitats, and a late afternoon start leaves time to walk a little before or after class. The center is at 3025 New Holland Road, Reading.
Hosted by Nolde Forest - Sawmill on BerksConnect.
