The Reading Symphony Orchestra brings one of the most recognizable works in all of classical music to the Santander Performing Arts Center, with Andrew Constantine on the podium. Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 opens with four notes that nearly everyone knows by heart, then carries the audience through a dramatic arc from struggle to triumph. Hearing it in a full hall, with the orchestra at close range, is a different experience from hearing it anywhere else.

The program also features Beethoven's Triple Concerto, a showcase for violin, cello, and piano set against the full orchestra. The soloists are the Amara Trio, Gold Prize winners at the 2024 Chesapeake Chamber Music Competition, who came together at the Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival and have since performed at Alice Tully Hall and Lincoln Center. The group studies at the Juilliard School and makes a point of playing in hospitals and retirement homes around New York and New Jersey.

The venue sits at 136 N 6th Street in downtown Reading, an easy walk from restaurants if you want to make an evening of it. Doors open ahead of the 7:30 PM performance.
