Death Doula Karen Glass leads a Death Cafe gathering at the Main Library, part of a three part series. The idea behind a Death Cafe is simple: create a comfortable space where people can talk openly about death, a subject that often goes unspoken. Conversation is guided but relaxed, and participants bring their own questions, experiences, and curiosity to the table.
Guests are asked to arrive by 4:45 so the discussion can begin promptly at 5. The setting is the Reading Public Library on North 5th Street, an easy downtown stop for anyone in the city or the surrounding townships.
