The Berks Ideas Festival will bring together community leaders and residents for a day of big ideas and family fun on Saturday October 3. The festival includes expert panels on issues shaping Berks County and Pennsylvania—from data centers and urban green space to youth sports—along with children’s art activities, characters, and food trucks. A statewide nonpartisan, nonprofit news organization, last year Spotlight PA opened a local bureau that serves Reading and Berks County. There is a ticketed breakfast 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. but from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., all programming is FREE, including all panel discussions and kids’ activities.
