Birdsboro Rotary Halloween Parade

About the event
The Rotary Club of Birdsboro brings its Halloween parade back to the borough streets, and it remains one of the easiest fall outings for southern Berks families. Costumed marchers, floats, community groups, and fire trucks make their way through town while neighbors gather along the curb to watch.
The route has long stepped off from Daniel Boone Area High School, turning onto Chestnut Street (Route 345), then left onto First Street and across Furnace Street before finishing at the Beacon Container Corp. parking lot. Past years have featured marching bands, firefighters handing candy from their trucks, clown cars topped with giant clown heads, witches, and a fire breathing dragon car.
Bring a chair or a blanket, find a spot along the route, and plan for extra foot traffic downtown. The club has listed October 29 as the rain date. Costumes are very much part of the fun for spectators as well as participants.
