EL BORICUAZO, Brought to You by Palo Magazine
September 19, 2026 · 1:00 PM · GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St, Reading

About the event
El Boricuazo brings the music, flavor, and traditions of Puerto Rico to Reading during Hispanic Heritage Month. Presented by Palo Magazine, the celebration takes over the outdoor space at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, with performances on the Thorn Alley Stage and a lineup of Puerto Rican food vendors, entertainers, and cultural experiences.
Expect a day built around the things that bring people together: Puerto Rican music, home-style cooking, local vendors and small businesses, family activities, and lively domino tables where the competition tends to draw a crowd. The event was founded by Rosa Julia Parra to give Berks County a place where Boricua culture is shared out loud and handed down to the next generation.
Whether you were born on the island, grew up in a Puerto Rican family, or simply love the culture, the invitation is open. Bring family and friends and come celebrate with the local Puerto Rican and Latino community. ¡Que viva El Boricuazo!
Hosted by GoggleWorks Center for the Arts on BerksConnect.
