Reading Symphony Orchestra

About the event
The Reading Symphony Orchestra shares the stage with The Joffrey Ballet at the Santander Performing Arts Center, pairing live orchestral playing with dance on the historic North 6th Street stage the orchestra calls home.
The Joffrey is a Chicago based company founded by Robert Joffrey and Gerald Arpino, known for a repertoire that ranges from classical masterworks to contemporary choreography. Hearing that dancing supported by a full orchestra in the room, rather than a recording, gives the evening its particular character.
The Santander Performing Arts Center began life in the 1920s as the Rajah Theatre and has served Reading audiences through vaudeville, film, and concerts since. Doors open at 6:30 PM, so there is time to find your seat before the music starts.
Hosted by Santander Performing Arts Center on BerksConnect.
